A private religious school in Panama City will raise the country to invincibility quickly by introducing Consciousness-Based Education into the existing school, and by constructing a new Invincibility School. This was announced by Dr. Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Latin America, on 7 September on the Maharishi Channel.
In Panama, which lies between the two Americas, North and South, the Global Country of World Peace has been introducing the Transcendental Meditation programme to the native people through their traditional leaders. The Kuna people, and recently some others, have adopted the practice.
Dr Alvarez said that this approach seems to bring the blessings of the traditional leaders to the country as a whole, and open up new opportunities.
'It is like having the blessing of the mother or the father,' Dr Alvarez said. 'A few hundred of their people learned Transcendental Meditation, but we still felt that something more had to be done in order to secure sufficient numbers of Yogic Flyers in that nation [to raise it to the state of invincibility].'
In the last few weeks, as documented in Global Good News, three universities have signed agreements to begin Consciousness-Based Education, and a fourth has expressed keen interest.
'Today,' Dr Alvarez continued, 'we have an agreement signed with a religious school—Juan Pablo School—in Panama City, the owner of which is from Japan and showed a deep appreciation of this knowledge. In a few weeks, we will have the news that enough Yogic Flyers have been achieved by the principal of the school, Professor Berta Archbolb.
In addition to this, Professor Archbolb is purchasing land and will create a new school built according to the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda. This too will provide Consciousness-Based Education, thus ensuring that the required number of 160 Yogic Flyers is achieved—and far surpassed.
'The whole programme has been secured with the blessings of the traditional leaders of Panama,' Dr Alvarez commented, and added: 'We celebrate Professor Berta's bright initiative and insight into the possibility of creating invincibility.'
In Peru, the same week, another private religious school with 600-700 pupils also took the step of adopting Consciousness-Based Education.
