Dr Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja (Administrator) of Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, recently reported that a secondary school near Lima has decided to offer Consciousness-Based Education to 1,500 students and give them the opportunity to become Yogic Flyers.
The news was presented to the students during the celebration of the school's 50th anniversary. The Mayor of Callao, where the school is located, came to the celebration to inaugurate the new Consciousness-Based Education programme.
The school is the first in the area to implement Maharishi's programmes. Dr Alvarez praised the principal of the school, who organized the new programme in just three days and arranged time during the school day for the students to practise Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme and its advanced techniques including Yogic Flying.
Dr Alvarez also reported that students at a school in Puno, will soon be Yogic Flyers. These students have been practising Transcendental Meditation for a few months and will begin practising Yogic Flying together in the next two or three weeks. Peru will then have 700 Yogic Flyers—more than enough to raise the nation to invincibility.
With a population of almost 29 million people—8 million of whom live in the city of Lima—Peru needs 500 Yogic Flyers to create national invincibility.
