On 1 March 2006 Suffolk Journal reported:
Research shows that the Transcendental Meditation Technique allows individuals to utilize more of their full brain potential. According to the David Lynch Foundation, the Transcendental Meditation Technique promotes a happier, healthier, more successful life.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of education.
The article cites a two-year study comparing students attending Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, all of whom practise the Transcendental Meditation Technique, and students attending another university in Iowa, who do not practise the TM Technque. The study found that the students practising the Transcendental Meditation Programme 'became capable of making more accurate decisions at quicker rates then those not practising meditation'.
The article quotes Robert Roth, Vice-President of the David Lynch Foundation, discussing the benefits of the TM Programme, which include clearer thinking, greater creativity, reduced stress, and better health. Roth notes that these qualities, as well as increased compassion, morality, and honesty are displayed when the brain is utilized most fully.
Roth explains that, 'The times when we are violent, deceitful, depressed, angry, bullying, are the times when our brain is under stress and not functioning fully.' Mr Roth continues by saying that the Transcendental Meditation Technique is an effective means for reducing stress in daily life and helps individuals cope with stressful life changes.
The article quotes Roth, on behalf of the David Lynch Foundation, as saying: 'We'd like to tell people that Transcendental Meditation is for everyone and it requires no beliefs, no philosophy, no change in lifestyle; it's for everyone. It's as natural as drinking water or breathing or thinking, and everyone now has an opportunity, if they wish, to see just how healthy, happy, creative, and successful they can be.'
Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total
