On 8 December 2016 The Washington Times reported: Sherilyn Fenn, author and actress -- best known for starring roles on such TV series as ''Gilmour Girls,'' ''In Plain Sight,'' and the classic David Lynch production ''Twin Peaks,'' mentioned her practice of Transcendental Meditation during a recent interview.
''It's been almost two years since I started,'' Ms Fenn said. ''I went to see David [Lynch, a TM practitioner for over 40 years]. We were drinking coffee, and I said, ''Oh this is wrong. And this.'' He said, ''Sherilyn Fenn . . . . You need TM!'' He hooked me up with a wonderful teacher. It's life-changing.''
