Wayne Freedman of ABC7, San Francisco is taking a cross-country trip by train. In part five of eight in his special series, 'Return to the Heartland' he finds 'an unusual twist in the road, in Iowa' when he discovers Fairfield, Maharishi Vedic City, Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation technique, and the Maharishi Effect.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of culture.
He explained that in Fairfield, which is close to Maharishi Vedic City, those who practise Transcendental Meditation 'enter golden domes twice a day to better themselves and all mankind.'
'They call it the Maharishi Effect,' he went on to explain, 'and they have a mathematical equation to prove it. If the square root of one percent of the population of the United States—roughly 1,700 people—all practice advanced Transcendental Meditation in one place at the same time, then America's quality of life will improve.'
He noted that 'if measured by person per pound per acre, you're unlikely to find a happier, more mellow, more blissful group.'
Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total
Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
