On 16 August 2012 Financial Post reported: In a glowing report released Thursday, Moody's Investors Service says Canada's triple-A rating is supported by the country's economic performance and government financial position that have held up to the effects of the global recession 'better than most other top-rated sovereigns'. Moody's rated Canada's economic resiliency and government financial strength as 'very high' and said the country has a 'low susceptibility to event risk.'
